IT'S WHERE MY DEMONS HIDE
Hey there! It's cecedexx with a new character. I'm currently 16 years old. This new character application is complete and my lovely new character is played by Lucy Hale.
Cecily Marie St. Claire
(female) (18) (straight) (medical)
THE RELATIONSHIPS
MOTHER: Heather St. Claire (location unknown)
FATHER: David St. Claire (location unknown)
BROTHERS: Caleb (Cal) St. Claire (22, location unknown), Ember St. Claire (19, location unknown)
SISTERS: Summer St. Claire (14, location unknown)
PETS: Nala, kitten *see history*
OTHER: Uncle, Roger St. Claire, aunt, Ella St. Claire, and two cousins, Timothy St. Claire (10) Lillian St. Claire (6)
THE APPEARANCE
Cecily takes after her mother when it comes to her looks. Her dark hair is thick and slightly wavy when she doesn't do anything to it - which is typical due to her current lifestyle. She has deep green bedroom eyes that could put you in bed without leaving the room. Her eyes are framed with thick lashes and her cheeks have a constant blush to them. She's short and petite, just like her mother and sister. Despite her slightly athletic build, she's not very sporty.
THE PERSONALITY
Cecily is a dreamer. She's imaginative and compassionate with an unusually large heart and a tendency to help others. She's incredibly sensitive and is able to sympathize with others well. Cecily's very selfless but at the same time, quite vain. Her auora oozes confidence and she always seems sure of herself, even though she usually isn't. The bravado helps her survive, though, and people tend to look to her as a leader. This gives her a certain sense of power and authority, which can go to her head. She's great with children because she herself can act much like a child at times and she tends to act without thinking, following her emotional impulses. Cecily is a charmer and people tend to like her right from the get go, but knowing her after a while reveals a darker side. She's very secretive and vague, preferring to remain aloof and estranged to avoid getting hurt. Inside, though, she's aching. Her heart is a hole she's not sure can be filled. She's adaptable, though, and quite resourceful. She knows what she has to do to survive and goes through with it, no matter what she's feeling under the mask.
THE HISTORY
BIRTHDAY: 15 February 1994
NATIONALITY: American
David St. Claire, her father, is a diplomat. There are certain perks that come with being a diplomat's daughter; Cecily's seen the world and she's only 18. However, she's moved all around, leaving her with little friendships that mattered. After living everywhere from New York to Virginia to Brazil to Belgium to Italy, she graduated from an American school in Germany. It was her thirteenth school. Because of her father's career, Cecily's learned to adapt to her environment.
This never bothered her, as she's a social butterfly and her happiness oftentimes depends on those around her. As a child, she was always getting into trouble and making messes. Her parents signed her up for art and dance classes as an output for all her extra energy and zest.
She went away to university to study premed in the States right before the epidemic began. When the sickness spread, she wanted to return home to be with her family who still lived in Germany, but they were unreachable. She has two older brothers who were in university in Michigan, Cal and Ember, but she couldn't get in contact with them either. Her entire family is out of contact and she misses them dearly. Growing up, Cecily wasn't very close with her younger sister, Summer, but was much closer to her brothers, specifically Ember. Ember's only a year older than her and they were best friends for as long as she could remember.
In university, Cecily was dating a sophomore named Beckett, but when the epidemic hit, he left her, breaking her heart in one of the worst ways. She doesn't even know if he's still alive, let alone if he still loves her. The only thing she has left of him is the kitten they bought together a few weeks before the worst of the crisis hit and he left. They called the kitten Nala, because she resembled the lioness from the Lion King.
Heartbroken and trying to survive, Cecily joined forces with a girl she happened upon while wandering. Her friend, Celeste, heard of a refuge not too far from where they were camped out hiding and the two set off in search of a safe haven in all the chaos, but along the way, Celeste was infected. Celeste begged Cecily to leave her and find the safe haven as her last dying wish. When Cecily finally happened upon Henley Falls, she cried with relief; it wasn't all rumors. Putting her past behind her, Cecily plans to start over and rebuild with the rest of the surviving society.
