Elizza couldn't necessarily understand why things had to be made so much harder than they needed to be. Maybe it was just the fact that she was a woman in this world, but it bothered her because she hadn't always been this way. It only made sense nowadays. After meeting and greeting with a couple other hunters, it seemed a bit easier for her to clear her mind. Finally she was ready to head home. The blonde actually enjoyed walking around the community - when she had the time and wasn't busy trying to protect the borders.
Everyone was extremely lucky to have this kind of environment. The few children that helped make up their small population really made a difference. Especially around that time of year, when the snow began to fall and they eagerly greeted it. Even though these few children were hardened or not by whatever they had to go through to even get to Henley Falls, it gave everyone a peace of mind almost. For the time being at least.
Elizza found herself being familiar with quite a few people as she passed by, taking her own sweet time. Having been there for a few months now, she supposed she had known a lot of people, but she'd never really know them all of them. She began to twirl a wavy blonde strand in her fingers before she felt a tap on her shoulder. She glared at the woman that had tapped her shoulder - something she obviously hated anyone doing to get her attention. "Yes?" she asked. "Sorry, but you dropped this," the woman said, holding a small ring in her hand. She looked as if she weren't going to let it go. Elizza frowned and shook her head, "Keep it. Honestly." She let a slight smile form on her lips before turning away and wondering how she had even managed to keep that thing. It set her mind off and she slipped her hands in the pockets of her jacket.
She was used to the strange change of weather, having traveled from one of the warmer states and dealing with the extremities of others. But snow. Snow was not something Elizza was fond of. No matter how beautiful it looked, it was damn cold and Elizza wasn't for it. She wore her boots with some comfortable jeans and a long sleeved shirt under the thickest jacket she could find that fit her. She held the jacket close to her body as she walked, heading for some warmth at home. If it weren't so cold then, she probably would prefer hanging out a while longer.
