[style=font-size: 30px; font-family: georgia; font-style: italic; text-align: center; margin-left: 220px;]heaven sends and heaven takes After what happened with Louis, Vivienne had made a point of avoiding him and had been doing so for well over a week. It was tough to avoid someone that you lived with, but she managed it most of the time. On the off chance that she did run into him, the encounters were usually short and consisted of her blushing profusely and keeping conversation to a minimum. After coming up with whatever lame excuse she could think of, Vivienne would then run off with her stomach inhabited by butterflies.
It wasn't that Vivienne was avoiding Louis because she regretted having sex with him. No, she was avoiding him because every time she was near him, she couldn't gain control of her thoughts or her tongue. She was as giddy as a school girl around him and whenever someone so much as mentioned his name around her, an uncontrollable, girlish smile would cross her face. She was constantly being teased by some of her friends in the hospital.
Fall was drawing to an end and Vivienne new she couldn't continue to run away from Louis. Her heart pounded every time she so much as looked at him. She had trouble sleeping at night just from thinking about him. Night had fallen over Henley Falls and rain was starting to lightly tap against the window, drops running down the pane as Vivienne tossed and turned in her bed. Her sheets were tangled up and a few of her pillows had already fallen to the floor. The sound of the clock on her wall ticking only added to her restlessness. The rest of the house was silent, a silence that often unnerved Viv since the outbreak.
Turning onto her side and watching as the rain started to come down heavier, she knew that she wasn't going to be able to sleep, especially as lightning flashed across the sky. A roll of thunder followed suit as Viv shivered and burrowed herself deeper into her blankets. A feeling of loneliness crept over her, an unwelcome feeling in contrast to her giddiness over Louis. Loneliness and zombie apocalypse didn't quite mix well.
Almost timidly, Vivienne slipped out from under the covers and crept across her room to her bedroom door. The floor creaked slightly beneath her and the hinges on her door wailed like a banshee compared to the stillness of the rest of the house. Pausing outside of Lou's bedroom door, Viv's hand hovered over the knob before finally grabbing hold of the cool metal and twisting it.
Closing the door behind her as lightly as she could, she proceeded to tiptoe across the room before sliding into bed beside her.... well, she didn't quite know what they were anymore. They were more than friends, she knew that for sure. "Lou," she whispered as she crawled beneath the covers with him. She wore nothing but one of Lou's old tee shirts and a pair od underwear. Her smooth legs brushed against his and her chocolate colored curls fanned out over his pillow behind her as she laid on her side. "Are you awake? Wake up."
Shaking him lightly, she shivered and pulled herself closer to his warm body. She was right up against him and she could feel the butterflies in her stomach already. Poking him in the face, she stubbornly persisted to wake him fully. She didn't want to be alone. (578 words) (louis shaymen) (sorry it's short)

owling ghosts they reappear[/style] In mountains that are stacked with fear. But you're a king and I'm a lionheart, a lionheart. His crown lit up the way as we moved slowly, pass the wondering eyes of the ones that were left behind. ------------------------------ Louis didn't understand why Viv had been so shy with him for the past week. Well, he did know why but he was confused as to her actions. If anything Louis wanted to get closer to her after what they had done. She had finally let him get the closest he could ever get to her and he didn't want to go back to being just friends. He was determined to find another way toward her heart if he had to. He had honestly started to panic whenever she shied away from him, she couldn't hold his look gaze for more than a few seconds before she stuttered and blushed. Whether it was because she was embarrassed at what they did, or it had the total opposite affect he wouldn't know. He had been busy himself at the station, not crazy work like he had planned for, but work all the same. Uncle Jimmy had him doing desk work, getting files organized and a bunch of other bull shit that he didn't know came with the package of being a cop. Aside from the desk work he'd been on patrol for the first time by himself, and it had been the most boring thing he'd ever done in his life. No one in town wanted to cause trouble for fear that they would be thrown outside the walls, that was a good thing but also a bad one. All Louis had looked forward to was getting inside after spending six hours out in the cold while his Uncle did god knows what on the other side of town. Sometimes he swore the man was taking a nap while he was doing desk work, but he wouldn't say anything for fear of getting smacked in the head.
He had thought about Viv the whole walk home, and couldn't really get her out of his head, despite Uncle Jimmy's strike up on a conversation. the young cop had eaten dinner, showered and went straight up to bed with a small grunt to his Uncle as a goodnight speech. He was exhausted and had literally crashed the second his head hit the pillow.
Thunder and lightening wasn't something that had ever bothered Lou, if anything it would help him sleep with the rhythmic sound of rain on the roof and the soft rumble of thunder. It wasn't until she was poking him in the face did he even so much a stir from his slumber. His eyes popped open soon enough and with a few seconds of blurry vision, he was finally able to see Viv clearly laying next to him in his bed. He blinked a few times and gave her a puzzled look. He didn't move other than that and just grunted slightly before rolling over. "Your legs are cold." He mumbled before pausing and then shifting back around to face her. "You act like a monk all week and now, all of a sudden you wanna talk? What time is it?" He said glancing at the clock. Louis wasn't mad at her, he never was and probably never could be. She could probably break his leg and he still wouldn't be mad at her. He rubbed his face and then twitched when her body came against his. "Why are you so cold!?" He said, shivering slightly. [style=font-size: 30px; font-family: georgia; font-style: italic; text-align: center; margin-left: 220px;]heaven sends and heaven takes "Time for you to get a watch," Viv said with a sarcastic tone, sighing lightly. "I was lonely..." Her body was slowly starting to heat up under the warmth of his blankets. Pushing her feet under his to warm them up, she rested her head on his pillow, close to his. The look on her face could be compared to that of a sad puppy. "I'm sorry..."
Her fingers ran lightly down his chest, innocently. "Can you forgive me?" she asked him quietly as the room lit up for a few moments from a flash of lightning across the sky. She could feel her giddiness starting to overcome her and it was a wonder that she could even keep herself in check. Being close to him was so soothing that she couldn't help but wonder just how she had managed to stay away from him for so long. "Please? Pretty please with sugar on top?"
Vivienne smiled lightly at him, raising her slender brows a little and slipping a hand up to his face. Rubbing his facial hair a little with her thumb, because she liked the feel of it, Viv couldn't help but remember what it had been like to kiss him. Hell, she couldn't help but think about what it had been like to... well, you know, with him. The very idea had her tingling from head to toe. (235 words) (louis shaymen) (sorry it's short)

owling ghosts they reappear[/style] In mountains that are stacked with fear. But you're a king and I'm a lionheart, a lionheart. His crown lit up the way as we moved slowly, pass the wondering eyes of the ones that were left behind. ------------------------------ The young cop gave her a blank look and rolled his eyes. "Who wears their watch to bed?" He said this in a half serious tone before sighing along with her. His brown eyes meet her's when he spoke, "And I've been lonely for a whole week." He said with a half smile, pulling the covers up higher in hopes of trapping more heat in. He didn't mind when she got closer to him, instead he welcomed it by not budging when she stuck her feet by his own and he just smiled bigger when she placed her head on the pillow he was using. For a moment his eyes rose and he looked past her and out of the window as the lightening forked across the sky. He could hear the faint noise of his Uncle's snoring in the room down the hall. It really must have been late, James hardly got home at a normal time anymore. He was lucky if he had someone to cover for him during the late night shift, most of the time the man would spend a few days living at the office, taking naps when he could find the time.
I guess I can forgive you this time Viv... but you are on my shit list now... He said very sarcastically, letting his eyes slip closed lazily while she played with his facial hair. It was a few minutes before he opened his eyes and looked her in the face. He had grown some courage with her after finally taking that step to show her that he loved her more than a friend, something he fought for wasn't about to go out the window just because he was shy. "Why did I have to be so lonely this past week? What's the deal, Viv? You have never left me alone that long before." He said this in a serious tone, not an angry one... more of a curious one. He wouldn't push her, but he needed to know if she was toying with him now or if she actually had a reason for what she was doing. (IDK words) (Viv) (Stolen template tehe) [/style]

[style=font-size: 30px; font-family: georgia; font-style: italic; text-align: center; margin-left: 220px;]heaven sends and heaven takes "Well maybe you should start,' Viv responded to him when he asked about people wearing watches to bed. She reacted to his being lonely with a mere sigh and burrowed her face into his chest for a moment. He was so warm and welcoming. When Viv was with Louis... she felt like she was home again.
Pulling herself up and over him, Viv straddled Louis and looked down at him, a frown on her face. "I'm sorry..." she said to him, watching his facial expression carefully. "I was just... nervous... Okay, nervous is an understatement. I was a total school girl with a huge crush."
A blush crept across her face and she couldn't help but be happy that the room was dark. "I may not have left you alone like that before, but you've also never seduced me before..." Pulling the blanket up around her shoulders, Viv couldn't help but feel bad for having avoided Louis all week. She hadn't meant to, but couldn't quite help it. They were stepping into new territory. She had never considered going over the line with Louis and yet... now that they had, she couldn't fathom why she hadn't seen it before.
Feeling a little guilty, she shifted a little over top of him, but stayed where she was. "I'm really sorry, Lou... I didn't mean to... I was being stupid, really." Biting on her lower lip, which was a nervous habit of hers, she looked down at his chest in an almost shameful way. (235 words) (louis shaymen) (sorry it's short)

His crown lit up the way as we moved slowly, pass the wondering eyes of the ones that were left behind. ------------------------------ Louis watched her while she buried her face in his chest. He was confused for a second or two, still wondering why she had been avoiding him. It wasn't until she straddled him did he get a good look at he shy smile on her face and the way she spoke did he realize he had her. A smile broke out onto his face at he thought of her as a school girl, things had changed so much since high school and he thought for a second what would happen between them if the virus hadn't happened and they weren't stuck together twenty four seven. Would she have found someone else? Would he have ever gotten the courage to do what he'd done with her?
He shifted under her so she wouldn't notice just how much he liked her over top of him and his smile widened some what. "So it's not a good idea for us to have sex then? You'll just ignore me for weeks if we ever do it again?" He shivered slightly at the breeze made by her pulling the blanket over her shoulders. He looked up to her face when she apologized and he rolled his eyes slightly. "Don't be. It's something new. I know how you get with new things." He said this with a chuckle and then he shifted again. "Your so lucky I don't sleep naked..." The thought sounded good to him, but he wasn't so sure he should jump into what he was thinking about when she was trying to say sorry. His brown eyes continued to stare up at her face and he said very smart-ass like, "Pay attention to me know and I'll forget about all last week... Since you have a school girl crush and all." He said with a cheesy smile...

[style=font-size: 30px; font-family: georgia; font-style: italic; text-align: center; margin-left: 220px;]heaven sends and heaven takes Vivienne couldn't help but roll her eyes at him. The very idea of him sleeping naked made her face burn with crimson though and she bit her lip. "Louis, attacked each other like animals in the shower... I think that you sleeping naked is rather tame compared to that." She felt him shift under her and.... well, she didn't want him to know just how good it felt to be over top of him.
Leaning over, Viv gently pressed her lips to his, her heart beating so hard and fast that she was sure it would beat its way right out of her chest. When she pulled away, she didn't go far, using her hands to keep herself over him as she looked into his welcoming eyes. What does this make us?" she asked him quietly. She knew what she wanted... and she was sure that he wanted the same. Still, she wanted to hear it from him.
Waiting for his answer, she could feel her stomach twisting and turning both excitedly and nervously. Sure, Viv had been with a few guys before(none of whom had liked the fact that her best friend was a guy), but suddenly... none of them mattered anymore and she couldn't even come up with a good reason as to why she had chosen them over Louis. She, in all honesty, loved him... she always had. Why had she been so blind and ignorant of what was right in front of her? Nobody could ever make her feel the way Louis did. If there was one person Vivienne could spend the rest of forever with, it would be him and him alone. She just wished that she had seen it sooner. (235 words) (louis shaymen) (sorry it's short)

His crown lit up the way as we moved slowly, pass the wondering eyes of the ones that were left behind. ------------------------------ Lou didn't have time to respond before she kissed him. He welcomed it and kissed her back, eyes sliding closed only to reopen when she pulled away. His brown eyes reopened with an almost pleading look. She was teasing him, and he honestly didn't mind it at all. "Well, I was thinking you could be my girlfriend.... but I mean it's whatever you want to be..." he said this with a big smile planted on his face, if she was going to play that game he could bring it just as much as she could.
He pulled his head up to meet her lips once more, moving a hand up to brush her silky hair from her face while the other one ran its course down the length of her body. He pulled away just enough to speak, though his lips still brushed against her's with every word, "I still don't understand why you had to do this at three in the morning." and with that he smiled against her lips before letting his head fall back against the pillow. He gazed at her for a long time, her body lighting up as yet another streak of lightening went across the sky.
He grabbed her and bucked he off, forcing her to lay next to him again while he turned to face her, placing a hand under his head with an elbow resting on the bed to hold his head up. "So how does this work? You have to except my offer right?" He was playing stupid, but he also just wanted to hear her say it also. Yet another smile came into view for Viv, and he just sat there, waiting for her to speak... (IDK words) (Viv) (Stolen template tehe) [/style]

The feel of his hand on her made her shiver lightly and she let out a girlish squeal of delight as he bucked her off of him. She was trying her best to be quiet, not wanting to wake the others in the house. Letting out a sigh, she laid beside him and watched him prop himself up by the elbow. "I should probably think on that... it is a bit of a big step..." she teased, looking at the ceiling and pretending to think for a moment.
"I guess I can be your girlfriend..." she said with a shrug. Looking back at him, her smile widened. "Well this wouldn't be as terribly romantic during the day now, would it?" Her hand found his chest where she lightly started to trace patterns with her fingertips. "Now kiss me, you fool." She said this with a faux dramatism, pushing her lips out. He looked at her face after she said it was romantic, "I'm pretty sure it would be pretty romantic if we did this in the morning... or maybe the afternoon..." he said with a small sigh. His smile grew wider when she pushed out her lips, he turned away and pulled the cover over his head. "YOU CAN'T MAKE ME!" He screamed, kind of forgetting just what time it was. Not more and a few seconds later he heard something slam against the wall (most likely Jame's shoe) and him yelling something incoherent before you could hear his snores not more and a few seconds later. All of a sudden the bed started to shake with Louis' laughter. It died down and he flew around to pounce on her. "I can't believe you have me awake at this hour. Now what I am suppose to do?" He groaned like a little kid, pouting slightly as he gazed down at her. Why didn't he push to date her sooner? He sighed once again and then bent down to kiss her lips. "At least your lips make me feel slightly better..." He grumbled against her cheek before biting her neck.
He rolled away from her, or more like collapsed, sprawling his body out, this including his arm across her breasts and his leg over her's. "Can we just take this whole sex thing slow... I'm not sure if I want you to see me naked..." He said very sarcastically... and then he held back his laugh enough to say, "That and I'm really tired...."... She had to hold back her girlish giggles as he pounced on top of her. She kissed him back enthusiastically before rolling her eyes as he collapsed next to her. He could be strange at times, but she was use to his behavior... in fact, she welcomed it.
A long sigh escaped her lips and she stared up at the ceiling. "Fine, go to sleep if you're too tired for sex..." she said to him, arching a brow and looking over at him. Pushing his arm off of her, she slid out of his bed... taking his comforter with her. "I'll just take this and go back to my room... all alone... without anyone to keep me warm." Lifting her chin, she started to cross his room, knowing that, chances were, she wasn't even going to make it to the door. (235 words) (louis shaymen) (sorry it's short)

He quickly curled up and wrapped his arms around his head too, looking between his arms to see her leaving. The young cop popped up into a sitting position, eyeing her warily. When she made it too close to the door, he jumped up even farther, hitting the floor at run. Grabbing the end of the blanket he yanked it back hard, and with Viv being wrapped up in it she came flying back with it.
It didn't take him long to unwrap her from the blanket, and when he had her in his hands she was toast. "Are you threatening me?" He said with a smile and he nudged her toward the bed with his body up against her's. His smile widened into something more devilish and before should could really respond he took her legs out from under her so she was laying on the bed. "Your going to pay for keeping me up so late." He said, pulling himself over top of her and gave her one last look before letting his lips fall on her and his body rub against her's until he pulled away enough to start undressing her.

She was tingling from head to toe as he backed her toward his bed and knocked her right off of her feet, leaving her breathless and a little shocked as she look up at him. "You're bad..." she said, biting on her lower lip mischievously. She welcome his kiss wholeheartedly and more than willingly let him pull off the little amount of clothing that she had on.
---------- TIME SKIP BIATCH ----------
By the time they were done, Viv was draped over Lou's chest, her heart pounding and her breathing heavy. The side of her face rested against his chest, the sound of his heartbeat so incredibly soothing to her. "Hey Lou?" she asked him when her breathing finally calmed. She was in a state of utter bliss and hoped to god that none of the others had heard them. They'd tried to be as quiet as possible.
"Why all of a sudden?" she asked him curiously, wondering how long he had been wanting to be with her. Weeks? Months? Years, even? "How long have you felt like this?" She felt like a cheesy girl, wanting to talk about feeling and what not, but she couldn't help but ask. She was curious as to just how long she had been blinded.
