the laws
These here are the laws established by the safe haven's sheriff and law enforcement. These are not the forum rules. That being said, feel free to break these rules in character, for role playing purposes.
one. Community gates and borders are monitored twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week. Those wishing to leave the community for whatever reason do so at their own risk. Any person under the age of eighteen will not be allowed to leave the community unless accompanied by an adult.
two. Upon entering the community, all new comers are to pass a physical exam before being admitted through the secondary gates. Those with bite marks and those who show signs of having been infected will not be admitted into the community, but will instead be quarantined. Upon the death of a quarantined person, they are to be put down immediately. After twenty-four hours, when it becomes clear that a quarantined person is not infected, they will be released to the hospital for treatment.
three. Those who pose a threat to other refugees, in whatever way, will be arrested by law enforcement.
four. All refugees are encouraged to be indoors by nine every night to ensure their safety. Law enforcement will be patrolling the streets every night to ensure the safety of all refugees.
five. Refugees are encouraged to grow their own fruits and vegetables if possible. Stealing will not be tolerated.
six. While having weapons to optimize protection from the infected is ideal, refugees are encouraged to not waste ammunition.
seven. Rations are distributed on a weekly basis and are not to be wasted. Under no circumstances will anybody be given more than their set amount of rations.
eight. All raid parties will consist of four or more people: no less than two scavengers and no less than two hunters.
nine. All vehicles are to be used for official purposes only(raids, emergency transportation, etc.).
ten. Any person requiring supplies(tools, weapons, personal hygiene products, etc.) can visit the supply center. If supplies are not readily available, those in need will be placed on a waiting list. You can also find supplies for infants in the supply center, the most important of which being formula and other infant and toddler foods.
eleven. Refugees are asked to be wary of water usage, especially when showering.
twelve. Under no circumstances is a zombie or infected person to be admitted into the community.
