Thirteen-thousand
years ago, the Light Realm was anything but “light”. Taint spread like
wildfire, intoxicating the Queens, and drugging their triangles and
courts... It began in Raej. Hungry for more power, for more control, the
Queens started with their men, first ringing them out of “protection”.
The control and domination started out slow. If the males forgot the
Blood rules, specifically obey, if the males argued,  or refused to
service the women pain would ensue. Over a few hundred years,
generations of females became more and more tainted, turning to control
and domination and torture for the thrill of it. The joy in watching a
male do whatever they said,  bowing down to them in fear. They'd
forgotten about the beauty in the offered service; they'd forgotten what
it was like to be voluntarily served.

War
has since ravaged Terreille and the realm has only just begun healing
their wounds... Some wounds may never heal; some rifts between
territories may never be bridged. In the present day, tendrils of taint
have begun slithering through Kaeleer, with whiffs of evil rotting the
souls of the Blood. Will the Kaeleerians recognize the signs before it
is too late? Will Terreille learn from its past mistakes? Or will
history repeat itself and cause a societal cataclysm the likes of which
has never been witnessed? Only time will tell... These are the Sins of
the Blood.

Sins
of the Blood offers members an easy application, the ability to transfer
past BJT characters, creatures and characters not offered on most other
BJT sites, a site shop to buy goodies with award points for your
characters, and no word count! If you like fantasy and a unique setting,
come give us a try. Everyone is welcome having read the Black Jewel
Trilogy not necessary!
