The year is 2040. It has been fifteen years sincethe downfall of society and the merging of two dimensions. It has been tenyears since the assault on Namaesti, the Angel Fortress. In thebattle, the largest rift between the dimensions was closed and most of theVampires were freed from Angel slavery.
Since the Battle of Namaesti, the greatcity has begun to re-establish order and economy. Humans set up banks andcreate a new form of currency, and efforts are made to make the cityself-sustainable. Trade with nearby cities began, and Choiseul Manor became aplace of democracy for Humans, Vampires and Werewolves alike. Angels were allowedinto the city but watched carefully. Strike left the city and delegates theleadership of the pack to his sister, Crystal, before vanishing.
Smaller rifts throughout the city are still open,and Angels remain unusually secretive.
