IT'S WHERE MY DEMONS HIDE
Hey there! It's TY with a new character. I'm currently TWENTY years old. This new character application is COMPLETE and my lovely new character is played by DAVID COOK.
TYLER ROLAND VAN HELSING
(MALE) (29) (STRAIGHT) (OUTSIDER)

MOTHER: Helen Van Helsing
FATHER: Henry Van Helsing
BROTHERS: --
SISTERS: Lydia Van Helsing
SPOUSE: Mercy Scarborough (Fiance)
CHILDREN: --

OTHER: None that survived
THE APPEARANCE
Tyler is an average sized man, standing just over six foot, his build is nothing too special. He is fit from being in the marines, but nothing too 'macho'. His hair is cut short and although it's darker than his sisters, his hair has red in it but it's mostly brown. He has various tattoo's along his body, too many to describe. The most striking part of him are his vibrant green eyes that match his sister. They only seem to make his temper seem even worse.
THE PERSONALITY
Tyler can be slightly judgmental toward people at first, but he isn't always open about it at first. He has a temper, and its brought on quite easily. He is sometimes hard to get along with and this is because of his stubborn attitude. Those he does get along with he is loyal and always looking for something to laugh about. He had become close with his fellow Marines and would always consider them brothers.
Those people he doesn't like, well he is the type of person to go out of his way to make an enemy's day shitty. He tends to hold grudges and it is almost impossible for him to forgive someone. Its only in his nature.

THE HISTORY
BIRTHDAY: July 24th
NATIONALITY: American
Tyler was the first born. Everything was so normal from the time he was born, and then onto when he was four and his baby sister had been born. Being in New York made him a city boy, and that was something Tyler never had wanted to give up. His relationship with his sister wasn't exactly awesome, they had been five years apart and he always felt she was too young to do the things he would be doing at the time. Tyler had known they're neighbors, but the one he knew the best was a girl named Mercy. They grew closer as they grew older and soon started dating after a night when Mercy's childhood dog died.
When his mother was diagnosed with cancer, Tyler had just finished high school and was getting ready for college. It was honestly something Tyler thought his mother was going to pull through, but instead she passed away. This hit him hard, he didn't want to be home. His father was a wreck and he couldn't face the fact that his mother was dead, even if his family did need him at the time. Instead of going to college like his father had hoped, Tyler enlisted into the marines and despite his heart being torn he left Mercy behind. He kept up with the letters she'd sent him and his love grew for her despite the distance. She was there for him where his father had lacked. She made him feel better about himself and helped him to get up even on the hardest mornings just by showing that she still cared for him.
He came home on leave, honestly not expecting to even see her around. Things had changed, he figured they had both changed so much since the last time he had been around. The timing was perfect, she had been back home after college. They started talking again and all over again he fell back in love with her and proposed before going back to his last term in the marines. It was when he was over seas that the outbreak happened. He and a few men from his squad came back to the U.S., all looking for family and some way to survive. Tyler could only hope his family and fiance were still alive, that was the only thing that drove him to travel across miles and miles of land for any signs of them.
