THE APPEARANCE
Alex must had inherited height from a distant relative. He towers at six foot four, having been much taller than the rest of his family, including his father who didn't even reach six feet. He has grown into that height with the muscle mass to match. He is noticeably fit and his skin is slightly tanned from working out doors most of his life. His hair is a light blond color with chilling blue eyes to make a scene with. His face flips back and forth between shaved and unshaven (depending on the season's now)
THE PERSONALITY
Alex is an overall likable man. Everyone has there moments, although Alex has a bit of a temper when his moments get too stressful. He is very full of himself and isn't afraid to speak his mind, whether to settle an argument or defend himself by making one he is known for his mouth and wits. The man is smart, though he never had it enough to apply it in school work, he spent most of it doing shit that wouldn't get him anywhere in life, so when the Virus destroyed society you could almost say it was a good thing for Alex. He has a weakness for woman, and he always had. They can distract him in any situation, good or bad. He fears nothing more than being bitten by one of these virals.
THE HISTORY
BIRTHDAY: November 24
NATIONALITY: American
Alexander was born in North Carolina, just out of reach of the heavy red neck influences. His father worked at a top notch slaughterhouse right outside of town and his mother was a house wife. Things were very cut and dry for his family. Alex was the oldest and the only boy, his mother had his three sisters all within a couple years after him. He was the protector or 'big brother' and had always kept things that way. His father made a decent amount of money, but he spent it on stupid things while he had a family to take care of. The house Alex grew up in was a small rancher, with a decent amount of land to it that his father never looked after since he was always at work.
From a young age Alex learned the idea of chores and work that needed to be done around the property. His mother and father were old fashioned and while he was the only boy, he did all the outside and heavy lifting work.
The first time his father took him out hunting he was eight years old. He knew how to shoot several different guns by the time he was twelve, and by fifteen he could probably survive out in the wilderness for weeks. He rode quads and dirt bikes through his teen years, acting like the typical 'country kid'. He went through school and was smart, though he did just enough to get by. Knowing he could get an A was different than taking the time to get an A. After graduating, Alex went straight into something he liked, carpentry. His family couldn't afford much in college terms, so he jumped off the bandwagon for college bound kids and moved out of home very shortly after graduating. He worked for a local company in town and stayed with them for years, working his way up from the bottom till he was just under the owner of the company. Living by himself, he could afford a small run down house that he did his best to keep decent looking. With all the skills he learned he fixed it up nicely, soon luring in girlfriends and one night standers, anything for a good time. He lived like this for years, not planning on changing one part about it. His boss was getting older and couldn't do as much work as before, Alex was planning on taking the business over from the family-less man.
That day came, and Alex had been running the Carpentry buisness for about a month when the news had gotten out about the boy coming back from the dead and attacking a nurse. It wasn't long after that did the word about a 'Virus' break out in Washington. Alex hadn't taken much thought to it, he kept his work up, he was sure things would be solved, despite how tragic things were, he had a business to run.
Before the man could even blink, the Virus had run rampant and last he'd heard it was spreading across the states and hitting the southern states heavily, only to make it's way violently up the East coast. He didn't even have a chance to secure things, before he knew what was happening the first versions of these Zombies had made it's way into North Carolina. He had woken up one morning and the creatures were fishing there way in and out of towns. He'd heard rumors from travelers about Pennsylvania and the so called 'Safe Zone'. Before he could have gone back for his family the Army had pushed the untouched humans out of North Carolina and a few neighboring states. They were forced from homes and pretty much thrown out onto the streets, searching for some place safe. Alex had his car, his guns and some supplies and started to make his way toward PA, with the grief of his most likely dead family behind.
