THE APPEARANCE
Cass stands just over five and a half feet with strawberry blonde curls that cascade down her back. Her eyes are a soft green with a few specks of brown in them. She is built nicely, and always had that skinny frame ever since she was little. With normal hips and curves, it's not like Cass has anything a man would jump out and stare at, though she is a basic beauty. She has been fit for most of her life since she had always been active. She has a tattoo that she'd gotten against her father's will of a fox who rested between her shoulder blades.
THE PERSONALITY
Cass's personality depends on a lot of things. But her overall personality is pleasant. She had always been a kind girl to those she didn't know, she knew her manners well and never when without smiling throughout the day. Being shy only came to those she didn't know, but anyone she had known, well she seemed like a completely different person. Around her family and her friends she was outgoing, and a real spitfire. She knew how to flirt and also put people in they're place when need be. Her brother had always been someone she'd gotten along with, until he started his over-protective feature(which had always been there, but grew stronger as they grew older). She wouldn't hesitate to talk with him about anything.
When it came to her father, well he was a different story. She was honestly afraid of him. After he had started to hit her and her mother, the abuse made her shy away. Only when he got really out of hand did she lash back, but even these acts would only make it worse for her in the end.
Cass is a headstrong girl and always knew what path she'd take in life no matter what happened along the way. She is smart and quick witted when it came to standing up for herself. She has a weakness for children and always will, and she will always have that fear of an abusive man because of her father.
THE HISTORY
NATIONALITY:American
Cassidy was born when her brother Cole was seven. The baby seemed to be a blessing for the young child along with Brenda and Mark. Cass spent her early years in the wake of her brother, ever since she could walk she was following him around, always curious to see what her big brother was doing. He stayed by her side protectively, he was her only real friend before she hit grade school.
They were on the poorer side for a family, but Cass always had some sort of stylish clothing when she went to school. Being shy at first, but not soon after did Cass make plenty of friends. She was a social butterfly and it would stay that way until her brother Cole left for the military. Now her brother wasn't really on his best behavior when he was in high school, but Cass honestly didn't know much about it. She was still at too young of an age to really understand what he was doing outside of the house. She was twelve when he left, and things really took a turn for the worst. Cole had only been away for six months when her father had hit her for the first time. She knew about her father's past drinking problems, but she'd always been daddy's little girl. It was more shock than an actual hurt for her. She hadn't told any of her friends at school, even when the questioned why she'd stayed so much later after soccer practice, or why she spent extra time on the weekends at the pool. This was all because of her father. He would mentally and physically abuse herself and her mother, to the point where Cassidy didn't want to be at home, it wasn't safe anymore.
Cassidy was sixteen when her mother finally divorced her father, after a particular fight that left Cass with several bruises and a bloody lip. Her mother finally brought up the courage to leave.. and Cassidy had honestly never been so relieved.
They moved into a run down old apartment, but there was really nothing her mother could do about it. Cass wasn't really a help in the job aspect since she was still in high school, but the girl was glad she was out and away from her father. When her brother came back and found them living away from they're father, Cass was almost positive that he would move in with his father, and the thought hurt her. When she saw him walk through the door with his bags she remembered distinctly how she tackled him to ground and cried. Life had slowly gotten better with Cole helping with the bills. Cass had graduated high school and worked as a waitress at a nearby diner while she took night classes at an art school for photography. She had always wanted to open up a photography business. She had dated men on and off, but honestly never stuck with any of them for several different reasons. She was afraid to commit, for one... and Cole seemed to scared them off with his protective nature.
She was twenty four when the virus broke out. She was still living with her mother, and currently saving to move out. That would never happen though. She could still see the memories of Cole picking her and her mother up. The virus had spread to Kansas and taken control of everything. She was scared for her families life, and it only made matters worse when they stopped by her father's home. Though he never came back out of that house, and despite her constant questions, Cole never said anything about whether he was there or not.
When her mother died, Cassidy broke down. While her brother tried to protect her, all she did was to kill these virals. Over the year they had been traveling, Cass learned how to shoot, throw knifes and defend herself as good as any man could. When they found Henley Falls Cassidy had been relieved and devastated at he same time. Things were changing and the young woman was having a hard time handling it all. She fit right into the community though and found herself being a scavenger, despite her brother's arguments.
