don't get too close, it's dark inside, it's where my demons hide ELIZABETH ANN HOWELL Hey there! It's Mercy with a new character, played by Alyssa Milano. I'm currently twenty years old and live in the eastern timezone. This application is complete. basics GENDER: Female AGE: 31 BIRTHDAY: June 13 NATIONALITY: American SEXUALITY: Straight PREVIOUS OCCUPATION: Writer CURRENT OCCUPATION: Outsider relations MOTHER: Alice McLean FATHER: Hugh McLean BROTHER(S): None SISTER(S): Laurie McLean-Dawson SPOUSE: Keiran Howell CHILDREN: Jacob Howell PET(S): OTHER: Matt Dawson[brother in-law], Katherine Dawson[niece] appearance Elizabeth is a beautiful woman, her long brown hair reaching down her back in soft and natural waves. Like her mother, Liz has a beautiful pair of chocolate brown eyes and long lashes, a trait that often proves hard for her husband to resist when she wants something. Her eyebrows are always well groomed and shaped. Liz's smile could make the angels sing, her pearly whites nice and straight from three years of braces as a kid. Her lips are nice and soft, complementing her sweet smile. Overall, she has an almost angelic appearance. Liz's frame is nice and slender, when she's not pregnant. When she is though, she gains everything in the belly. Living a healthy life style has always been important to her and, before the outbreak, she liked to keep fit through activities such as yoga. Compared to her husband, Elizabeth is significantly smaller. She stands at five feet and five inches. personality Simply put, Elizabeth is exactly like her father. Growing up, she was a bit of a loner, always quiet and preferring to sit in the back of the classroom, writing and doodling in her notebook. People change though and, since then, Liz has become significantly more outgoing and energetic. She's much more confident in both herself and her beliefs. When she feels strongly about something, she will voice her concerns. Though much of Liz's personality has changed since her school days, much of her still remains the same. She's a good listener and can always be counted on for advice and such. Family is of utmost importance to her and she would be lying if she were to say that she didn't worry almost constantly about them, especially now. She enjoys peace and quiet at times, time to just think about anything and everything. Liz is never quick to anger and can be considered a very open minded person. She's always willing to look at things from another person's perspective. Her biggest fear is losing her husband and/or son. Without them, she wouldn't be able to go on; they're her reason for living. history Elizabeth was the youngest child and second born daughter born to the McLean family. From the time Hugh McLean first held baby Elizabeth, she was his little angel. It wasn't that he loved one child more than the other. The two just shared a special bond. They were so alike in personality. Not even her mother, Alice, knew Elizabeth the way Hugh did. Though Laurie had a few years on Liz, they were very close growing up. The family's life in San Francisco was a comfortable one. While Hugh worked as a journalist and writer, Alice worked as a real estate agent. They didn't live the richest of lives, but they were never in much trouble, financially speaking. Liz and Laurie were pretty much polar opposites in terms of personality. Through out school, Laurie had been a social butterfly, popular and participating in just about ever club, sport or event you could think of. Elizabeth, though she had no trouble getting along with people, was much quieter. She spent much of her time, sitting in the back of the class and doodling in her notebook or writing. It was no surprise that, upon graduating from high school, Liz went off to college to study literature and mythology. She spent most of her junior year studying abroad. Meanwhile, her sister had chosen a career as a lawyer. Liz had just graduated from college when her sister married Matt, a local law enforcement officer. It was around this time that Elizabeth made perhaps the biggest mistake of her life. David was everything she dreamed of at first. He was smart and outgoing, not to mention charming. After a while though, Elizabeth started to see him for what he really was: the world's biggest asshole. In her early twenties at the time, Liz was working hard to get a good foothold in life and the last thing she needed was a douche for a boyfriend. There was no leaving him though; she was scared to do so. She was constantly lying about bruises, thinking that she could change him. It never happened though and it just got worse. Laurie was her saving grace. Having seen such things before, Laurie knew something was going on and, after finding Liz with a black eye, there was no more hiding it. The argument between Laurie and David had been a nasty one. It would have been much nastier if Laurie's husband hadn't been present. The couple moved Elizabeth out of the apartment she and David had shared and moved her into their own guest room until she could get back up on her feet. Not to mention, Laurie didn't want Liz out there own her own until David was behind bars. It was a few months later, during a Christmas Party that a heavily pregnant Laurie and Matt had decided to throw, that Elizabeth met Keiran. He was tall and devilishly handsome. His charm won her over almost immediately. Coffee meetings led to lunch dates.... lunch dates led to dinner dates... It was all terribly romantic. The most memorable date had to be the night that Keiran decked David though. After having been together for over a year, the couple decided that they wanted to take the leap and tie the knot. Before they even said "I do" though, Elizabeth found out she was pregnant. She was six months, going on seven, when they finally got married. It was a beautiful wedding for the expecting couple. If anything, Liz's pregnancy just made it even more special. Baby Jacob was perfect in every way. As a matter of fact, their small family was perfect. Well... except for the fact that Liz wasn't the biggest fan of her husband's job. It wasn't that she wasn't proud of him, she really was. Perhaps she just didn't understand his need and desire for such a dangerous job. She was always worried for him when she couldn't know exactly where he was and it would be a lie to say that she hadn't tried to convince him to take a bit of a safer job. When the news about a virus hit, the nation was spiraling fast into wide spread panic. Not being with her husband when all hell broke loose in San Francisco, Elizabeth was not only scared to death for herself and her son, but for Keiran as well. She couldn't get a hold of him. Keiran always had a knack for protecting his family though. Had Keiran not made it home when he did, one of those... things would have torn his family apart, right in their own house. Packing their car with all the supplies they could, the family set off for any kind of safe haven. Leaving behind their memories and their loved ones, Liz had no idea if her family was still alive. Not long after being forced from their home, Liz found out that she was pregnant again. She wasn't sure if it was a blessing or a curse with the current state of the world, but there was no turning back. Now, Liz is six months pregnant. Having searched far and wide for a sanctuary, the family has found many, but none of them lasting. Their search has led them to Pennsylvania. The closer Liz gets to the end of her pregnancy though, the more important it is for them to find safety in a world full of chaos. |
